Plamen Monev

Plamen Monev was born in 1961 in Beloslav, Bulgaria. In 1980 he graduated at the National High School of Plastic Arts and Design “Academician Dechko Uzunov” in Kazanlak, Bulgaria. In 1988 he graduated the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria from the class of prof. Peter Mihaylov.
Plamen Monev works in the field of oil painting, graphics, and illustration. He actively participates in exhibitions, biennials, and plein airs in Canada, USA, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Slovenia, Belarus, and, of course, Bulgaria.
